Sonoran Studios Shines Spotlight on Child Crisis Center

(May 12, 2009 — Phoenix, Ariz.) - Sonoran Studios and Child Crisis Center recently teamed up to create a compelling media campaign highlighting the non-profit’s valuable service in the community.

As part of the campaign, Sonoran Studios produced a video profiling former Child Crisis Center (CCC) resident Tymes Marsh, who lived at the center when he was eight years old. Today, at 18, his outlook on life is bright; he serves on his high school’s student council, plays sports and has won numerous awards. The video reflects his gratitude toward Child Crisis Center for helping him and his family through a rough period.

“This video tells our story,” said Jodi Stoken, Development Director for Child Crisis Center. “It tells people who we are, what we do and how we work in people’s lives.”

“We were honored to profile Tymes for the Child Crisis Center and show the effects of their work on people like him,” said Sonoran Studios president and CEO Neil Schneider. “We also firmly believe it will boost fundraising for CCC.”

Sonoran Studios also sponsored a full-page ad for the Child Crisis Center in the Phoenix Business Journal’s 2009 Giving Guide, which will be distributed at the Non-Profit Summit May 14 at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel.

Sonoran Studios is committed to assisting Phoenix-area non-profits. Other groups it has supported include Chrysalis, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS, 1in10, Maggie’s Place, Special Olympics, Phoenix Rescue Mission, PFLAG and the FFA Organization, among others.
